You Loved Me

The most beautiful thing,

The cause of every smile on your face, ear to ear

I erased your flaws, just to glorify you

You were perfect in my eyes

Loving you was exciting;

I couldn’t wait till the next morning just to see you snore beside me

I adored you

Loving you was calm;

Just like the mornings when the sun escaped the blinds and rested on the white tiles

Like the slow songs while hitting the bed

I'd let you get to my insides

As I insert my nails into your tough skin while you’re over me

Letting your sweat drip on my face in an air-conditioned room

You’ll stare at my body with Satan in your eyes and I loved it

But it seems you’ve found someone tighter

I’m assuming she makes the best meals

I gave you 100 percent,

But her body is a ten over ten

She must be an angel

I wonder if she likes the way you burp after almost every sip of soda

Does she know how much you love sodas?

I hope she tolerates you when you’re mad

I hope she’s ready to listen to your problems at 4 am,

Even though she slept at 3 am and needs to get going by 6

I had so many imaginations,

Where we’d have our honeymoon,

or if we’d invite our relatives to our wedding

My thoughts were always about you

But one mistake I made was thinking one thing for myself

And that was to think that I was irreplaceable.
